Caring and comfort
LakeView Continuing Care Center is a not-for-profit, 120-bed skilled nursing center. It is owned and operated by LakeView Community Hospital Authority as part of the full continuum of care that LakeView brings to the communities it serves. The center is Medicare and Medicaid certified. We offer our residents and their families a wide range of services and amenities in a bright, caring and comfortable environment.

Serving Southwest Michigan
LakeView Continuing Care Center offers the calm and quiet of country living in the friendly Village of Lawton, Mich. Located in the southeast corner of Van Buren County, Lawton is just 30 minutes from Kalamazoo. It is four miles south of I-94 at Exit 60 and within easy access for all of Southwest Michigan.

Rehabilitation
LakeView Continuing Care Center offers a full range of rehabilitation services to enhance recovery from illness, injury or surgery. These include occupational, physical and speech therapy as an important part of each resident’s individual plan of care.

Certified medical director Our certified medical director, Edward W. Lean, M.D., C.M.D., is a board-certified family practitioner with special qualifications in gerontology. He is a member of the Gerontological Society.
