A Letter from the President and Chief Executive Officer
Dear Friends:
LakeView Community Hospital has a history of providing quality healthcare to the people of Van Buren County and Southwest Michigan, as you will see here at LakeViewCares.com. This has been true since our founding in 1939.
One important aspect of our commitment is the expansion of LakeView’s facilities. In 1998, we completed a beautiful, $10.3 million addition, significantly enhancing our outpatient services as well as the overall convenience and attractiveness of the Hospital and parking facilities. We owe a debt of gratitude to everyone in the community who contributed to achieving this important milestone.

However, I believe the most significant aspect of our services is what I refer to as the “human foundation” of our organization. As a group, the employees, medical staff, and governing board are always prepared to reach out and support our patients, their families, and our community, whether in times of joy or hardship. To me, that is a profound commitment – a commitment to caring that signifies LakeView’s sense of purpose.
